With My Own Eyes: Impact of Blackness on America [Submission 1 of . . .]

    Texas, here is my first submission for Black History Month 2018. Yes Barbara Jordan was awesome (Also, her sister, Ms. Cresswell, was my music teacher at Crispus Attucks Jr. High was awesome). I was too young to know who she would become when she made a speech at our school, but when she spoke there was something magical in her mastery and articulation of the English language.      Without black heroes like the late Dr. Jordan, the core and the hope of America's soul would be at-risk.  For those who get and understand this before time turns against us because of the allowance of racism can be like 'life and death'.
