This is Landmark Legislation: McCollum for President?

Of course there are many things going on in our turbulent world - so much to talk about and not enough time to cover everything - it seems.  I would however like to  take up some space to reiterate an unprecedented move by  US Congressperson Betty McCollum presenting legislation that would "tie the US military aid to Israel to its long-standing policy of imprisoning Palestinian children".

Sounds like a small thing, you say?  Well, it's not.  It's refreshing and liberating even when the robotic Zionists Congress offers some sign that they can disagree with Israel,

McCollum has been serving since 2001 as a Democrat from Minneapolis and has served on many important committees affecting women rights, the environmental protections, farmers and labor, yet her being a member of the powerful United States House Appropriations Committee hopefully will be the lasting legacy that she leaves as the bill challenges interest groups like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and the extreme right-wing Zionists that seem to be running Israel (and the US).

Yet the children of Palestine deserves more than death, dying and imprisonment thanks to a sullied unchallenged position held Administration after Administration that occupy the White House and entities from the dark state like namely the Industrial Military Complex.

Yet her colleagues from both sides of the isle may be her staunchest opponents.  Both branches of Congress have seemingly given Israel carte blanche to maim and kill innocent children and their families under a false pretext that states "Israel has a right to protect itself".  The Presidents in modern history vassalage to Israel lobby has been beyond despicable.

This long and disgusting sin of omission for killing and imprisoning innocents shall infamously be recorded as some of the darkest periods in American-Israel History. This initiative may not go far enough it, but it must be at least acknowledge as a harbinger for change that can contribute to a long overdue change against moral fabric that has embarrass those of conscious for decades.

"Being Different" IS NO WALK IN THE PARK. I reckon it depends on many factors, i.e., whether or not you will be received for being different or rejected for being different. In our society, today we celebrate diversity. Today, people are expected not to be prejudice or hurtful to another who might not be like them or might not belong to the same tribe as them. Every since the reported first European colony hit the America shores in the 1400's, I have yet to read about the saving dynamic of colonial life.  Sure, we hear about how countries colonize the land of other countries and how they force their culture on the natives once they are in complete control.  We also heard of the Monroe Doctrine of 1823 and the Manifest Destiny in 1545.   The latter proclaims that it is only its colony's right to spread their values and cultures on others, free or bonded and the former declares how the colony must claim as much as it can of other people's colonies. It had been over several years since I started the case of discrimination against my corporate employer.  The fight started at the workplace and worked itself up to the EEOC, before making the final move to sue in court.  All of the administrative remedies have been exhausted, and my employer was determined to use every deflection tools necessary in order to strain me and my supporters of the will to fight.
