GENTRIFICATION: ANOTHER REINVENTION OF RACIAL PREDATION

It's common now to find the multi-faceted impact of gentrification. Quite simply, people can't afford to go home anymore. (They should make another a movie). Yet it's deeper.

Try this mind-game: Meditate on how the system works regarding at least 5 of your daily transactions. What did you notice? You should have noticed that everything, good and bad, are interconnected - the system thrives on (I call it) 'feeding the legion of demons at the holy trough' where they suck on the spoils of the prey (the consumer). In this fictitious imagery, it draws its strength and is able to reconfirm its ability to screw the consumer on multi-fronts - at the same time.

Example (Partial): Let's take a simple parking ticket: it runs out you are not only paying for one actual ticket but the cops find a way to arrest (If you're lucky and not killed) you; you need to pay for towing to retrieve your car; you need to pay to be bonded out of jail using your mother's mortgage note; you need to pay for Uber or a Yellow to get back home; you are forced to eat greasy burgers and fries (forced to vicariously mimic Trump) during the time of your interrelated ordeals as whole days have been hijacked.

Then you need to borrow money from a payday loan company or a (100% interest) title loan. Now, if you are able to at least figure out approximately you've spent for this intentional systemic event, then you must conclude that the system has screwed you - again. Oh, did I also include the sales taxes, unheard of penalties attached by the government, credit score, utilities cut-off, etc. (You can add-on if you decided to participate).

So gentrification is not just pricing the indigeninos from their home communities, but it's a full-frontal assault on those who are economically (and politically scorned) less fortunate - it's a interconnective predatory mechanisms where one predatory action is really the face of a cesspool of a legion of predators, and they are now running roughshod over the powerless.

You may consider voting for change, but if you haven't figured out what needs to be changed or even able to recognize the realization of the totalitarian aspect of 'evil-connected' in our society, you really have become like 'sounding brass and tinkling cymbals' - powerless that is ripe to pay the remainder of your crumbs to the preacher, and the rest to the myriad of advocacy agency who expect for you to have money to donate for their advocacy work (This has become a concern, too).

They (the system) have been working on this for a long time - and, it's like second-nature now.

"Being Different" IS NO WALK IN THE PARK. I reckon it depends on many factors, i.e., whether or not you will be received for being different or rejected for being different. In our society, today we celebrate diversity. Today, people are expected not to be prejudice or hurtful to another who might not be like them or might not belong to the same tribe as them. Every since the reported first European colony hit the America shores in the 1400's, I have yet to read about the saving dynamic of colonial life.  Sure, we hear about how countries colonize the land of other countries and how they force their culture on the natives once they are in complete control.  We also heard of the Monroe Doctrine of 1823 and the Manifest Destiny in 1545.   The latter proclaims that it is only its colony's right to spread their values and cultures on others, free or bonded and the former declares how the colony must claim as much as it can of other people's colonies. Society has been proliferated with data coming from research that examines the real status of Americans.  But, no matter how profound and informative the data may be, humans have what one would call a 'selective perception' opting to believe a lie before the truth. It had been over several years since I started the case of discrimination against my corporate employer.  The fight started at the workplace and worked itself up to the EEOC, before making the final move to sue in court.  All of the administrative remedies have been exhausted, and my employer was determined to use every deflection tools necessary in order to strain me and my supporters of the will to fight.
