OPINION: My Open Letter to Facebook Owners and My Fellow Consumers on Facebook: 'Free' Opinion Counts

Interesting debate here.  Can you do without Facebook?  Would you do without Facebook?  Are you able or willing to debate whether or not it truly believes in free speech, or the opposite, censuring real debate?

As the debate on fake news has reached a problematic stage, we should be oblige to join the conversation, or not be listless on the matter.

Well if you are like me, I really like the Facebook social platform as it has open doors of communications not only locally, but globally; and successfully interweave the benefits of linking to other platforms, opportunities, etc.

People are sharing, promoting and keeping in touch like never before through writing, graphics, pictures, videos, podcasts, sharing, direct contact, commenting, you name it, Facebook is truly state of the art by its advancing of the technological modes of sharing as never before.  It wouldn't be far-fetch to consider oneself as a Facebook junky, some may even be seen as 'extreme' junkies (but that is a conversation for another day). In summary, the facebook platform has enhanced the lives and the interests of many in ways that that are unprecedented.  For that, they deserved much accolade.

So answering some of the questions asked  at the beginning of this post may take many (the masses) out of their comfort zone. I will go so far as saying that some may be asking why ask the question  or even get offended as the Facebook we know has skillfully and effectively filled vacuum (some call it 'market demand') that needed to be filled.

On the other hand, I need to make the point that the audience that I mostly seek and commune with share a well known history of being owned.  The most prevalent notice (in my opinion) is when one enjoys the toys and never question the intent of the toy maker.

I propose that we have a right to question, because without us, there will be no Facebook.  Please don't forget that.  So if you see this article posted on Facebook, that would be a good sign that powers of Facebook really are open to free and open debate, and care about the audience that have enriched them so very well (They too have enriched the audience, as well, in different ways).
